We celebrate the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of every month and the elements used are bread and wine. We practice “open communion,” which means we welcome non-members and visitors to participate in the Lord’s Supper after warning them that partakers must profess faith in Jesus Christ, have received Christian baptism, not be living in unrepentant sin and not be under sanctions in their home congregation. We do not allow children to partake of the communion elements unless they are living in obedience and are able to give a credible profession of faith.
